I love trivia. While reading various books on various subjects over varying periods of time, I always come across some interesting tidbits of information?trivial food for thought, all of which make me wonder things such as, how, what, when, where, why, and what if.

Did you know that in:

?	50 A.D. the Romans invented soap? How did they stay clean before that?or did they?

?	453 A.D. Attila the Hun died from a nosebleed on his wedding night? His wife must have been something. I wonder what she looked like?

?	700 A.D. the Chinese invented the brassiere? I?ve spent most of my life trying to put them on and take them off. Not a pretty picture.

?	1094 gondolas appeared in Venice? Probably because the senior citizens of Venice were finding it more difficult to swim from neighbor to neighbor.

?	1904 a woman was arrested in New York for smoking in public? I wonder what she was smoking.

It?s fun to jot down trivial, historic events. I get most of them from the newspaper and old textbooks. Some of my students share their findings with me, as do friends. In any case, all types of unique, historic information always conjures up more questions in my mind, which sends me to the archives to do more research, resulting in more writing opportunities.

There comes a point in every business where a pen and pencil just doesn’t do it anymore for tracking your finances. Some businesses may not need anything fancy for some time and others might need good accounting software immediately. There are two big brands in the world of small business accounting programs. There is QuickBooks and Peachtree.

QuickBooks is probably the most popular program out there. It has a very user friendly interface and is easy to learn. Intuit, the company behind the software, included dozens of training lessons with the software. So even if you cant tell the difference between a debit and a credit, you can learn to use QuickBooks software.

The second most popular program is Peachtree. Peachtree is not quite as user friendly as QuickBooks but a novice can learn this program just as easy by doing the tutorials included in the software. Peachtree’s interface is a little more down to business than intuits version which might appeal to many users.

So which one is right for you. Well that will really depend on you and your companies needs. Both software companies offer several versions of their software. The programs range from basic accounting to multi-user programs designed to be used by a whole office. Before you take a leap of faith and shell out several hundred dollars for the software you should download a trial version of both programs. Both companies offer free 30 day trials so you can test them out. So download them both and see which one works best for you. Good luck and happy accounting.

Canine Communication and Body Language Part 2

Critical Periods
If we separated a human baby from all contact with other humans until it was five years old then that child would never learn the ability to speak or to empathise and converse comfortably. In most cases, it would be fearful and introverted. 0 to 5 years old is a critical learning period for humans. The old saying ?give me the child and I will show you the man? holds more truth than we could ever imagine. We learn more during this period that at any other time in our lives. In relative terms 0 to 16 weeks is the equivalent in canine age.

Forget the old wives tale that one year of a human equates to seven in a dog. A far more accurate measurement is fifteen for the first year, ten for the second and five for every year thereafter (though it depends on the breed and size) If you therefore calculate 16 weeks, it comes out as 5 years in human years. This coincides with Scott and Fullers 20-year observations on the critical periods of puppy?s psychological growth.

Socialisation
I cannot emphasise enough the need to socialise you puppy during this vitally important period. There is a vaccination now available where the full course can be administered by ten weeks rather than the normal twelve, thereby allowing two extra weeks of socialisation. The vaccine is by Intervet and is called Nobivac D.H.P.P.I/L.

Get your pups to socialisation classes, it is not enough to allow them just to mix with adult dogs they learn the all-important body language much quicker by being in the company of younger as well as older dogs. Nearly all the cases I deal with that involves interdog fear or aggression relates to lack of early socialisation during the critical 0 to 16 weeks.

The good news is that unlike humans, dogs can learn to communicate after this vital period though they will never be fluent; they can learn to cope given time and lots of patience.

Stress
All animals including humans suffer stress at some time in their life, to some extent it is part of the survival instinct, it floods the body with adrenalin pumping the muscles up allowing us to decide whether to fight freeze or flight.

Dogs have a powerful set of body postures that alleviate stress and diffuse potentially threatening situations, the shake, as if shedding water is one way of alleviating stress. We do not always see the signs such as dilated pupils, restless pacing, scratching, panting, loss of appetite, sudden dandruff and sweating. Most people think dogs sweat through their tongues by panting; this is a cooling system but has nothing to do with sweating. Dogs only sweat through their paws so damp footprints can also be a sign.

Aggression
When we approach a dog that is either fearful or control complex aggressive aka dominant, we can often tell by body language if they are likely to attack. Look for balance, if the weight and balance is on the front foot and it is leaning forward at the shoulders and is making hard eye contact then it normally means business. If the balance however is on the back feet and the eyes are darting away and it is yawning or licking, then unless cornered or challenged it is unlikely to just attack out of the blue.

If we also put our weight on our back foot, we can often diffuse a potentially dangerous situation. Weight and balance are magnified in a dog?s mind, they are always looking for the subtle nuances in our body language, and this is especially true of a nervous dog. I was at a clients recently, when I leaned slightly back putting the weight on my back foot the dog approached, when I transferred the weight to my front the dog moved away.

Many people believe that if the hackles are up this is a sign of aggression. This is not always the case, a dog that is excited can raise its hackles, its actual intentions will be apparent depending on the approach, if it curves round coming in from the side and sniffs the ground as it approaches than its intentions are normally peaceful. If it comes in face on stiff legged and circling then it could be a prequel to aggression.

Appeasement Gestures
Lets look at meeting and greeting, as one dog approaches another you will see a wide range of reactions. Some dogs will lie down almost flat to the ground we often see this in Border Collies. Some will lie and slightly roll over averting there eyes this is a submissive but friendly gesture The ones that lay down but in a Sphinx position head erect and body and tail upright are signalling to the other dog that they are confident and high ranking but are friendly and its ok to approach.

Others will yawn, circle slowly but not stiff legged, sniff the ground and allow eyes to constantly dart these look then look away again this is also a non-threatening approach. Others will stand off and await the other dog to approach so they can observe the approaching dogs intentions before deciding whether to greet. Just standing still can appease nervous dogs, lifting a paw up and down is another gesture I often see this signal to both dogs and humans, blinking eyes is a also diffuser of aggression that we can also use. Couple this with yawning averting our head and licking our lips and you can often calm a nervous or aggressive dog.

Clients often tell me that their aggressive dog dislikes black or dark dogs, and they cannot understand why? It is simple really; they cannot read the intent on a very black background therefore they are unable to react to the calming signals. I am occasionally told that some dogs are racist to coloured people; Dogs cannot be racist unlike humans they have no moral or racial preconceptions, this form of aggression is simply because they cannot distinguish features and intent on a darker background and may become fearful or aggressive because of that.

Rank
I am not of the school of thought that thinks there are no such things as dominant dogs. It appears that it now politically incorrect to use this word to describe a dog?s position or state of mind. If we agree the fact that dogs have submissive tendencies then the antonym (exact opposite) of submission is dominance. If we accept that like many other creatures? dogs do have levels of status, then status brings in rank and therefore control and dominance. I am well aware that the word dominance is vastly overused and in many cases is blamed for almost all canine problems, but to suggest that there are no dominant tendencies in some dogs psyche is to my mind mistaken and an exercise in semantics.

Having said that I am constantly told that this or that dog is displaying dominant aggression. In fact quite the opposite is mainly the case. The confident and high-ranking dog has no need for aggression. Its body language and controlled air shows all who can read the signs that this is not a dog to mess with. The wolf pack rarely has a need for actual aggression it is mainly stylised posturing that allows the hierarchy to exist peacefully. Generally, fear and lack of controlled early socialisation, causes most aggression based behavioural problems, that and our inability to read the clear signals that our pets are constantly beaming to us.

In conclusion, we need to watch and learn dog speak, write down the signals your pet gives and in what context it was used. With practice and given time, you should find yourself able to communicate and signal back, this will benefit both you and your dog and will result in a stronger bond and understanding of each other?s needs resulting in a relaxed and pleasant relationship.

The most difficult task of a picnic is remembering everything. Make a list on the computer of everything you might need for a picnic. Then as you pack, check off the items that you really need. Save the list for the next picnic or camping trip. When you return, add items that you wished you had taken. Eventually, you’ll have the perfect list for your family.

? Everyone likes to lounge on a picnic blanket but sometimes the ground is wet. Bring along a plastic tarp to put underneath the blanket. The tarp will last many years if kept out of the sunlight and can be hosed clean at home if needed.

? Pick your picnic spot strategically. If mosquitoes are a problem, choose a higher, drier spot that is in full sun and exposed to a breeze?mosquitoes have trouble in the wind and don’t like heat. On the other hand, if staying warm is a problem, choose a spot exposed to the sun and protected from cool breezes. If it’s hot, pick a spot that will be in the cool of the shade in the hottest part of the afternoon.

? Think safety. If you have kids along, make sure there are no hazards nearby: busy roads, deep water, or cliffs.

? Don’t forget the tablecloth. Inexpensive plastic coated ones make great picnic equipment, especially with kids.

? Speaking of kids, don’t forget paper towels for those spills and cleaning wipes to cleanse dirty hands and faces. Put a dry towel and a wet washcloth on your list. Stick the wet washcloth in zip-type plastic bag.

? Bring plenty of liquids. Active kids playing in the hot sun need to be reminded to drink. Water is the best hydrator but consider juices and slushes. Try mixing soda pop with juice?half juice and half soda or try freezing punches or juices to a slush to take along in the cooler.

? Include fruit in your picnic basket. It keeps well, it’s nourishing, and it’s refreshing. Often fruit satisfies a craving for something sweeter. Add fruits and fruit pieces to green salads and turkey or chicken salads.

? Bring along a cutting board and a couple good knives. You’ll be surprised how often you will use them. Cutting boards are especially useful if you are without a picnic table. The hard plastic types are great for picnics. For cleanup, just stick the cutting board in the dishwasher when you get home.

? Perishable foods must be kept cold. Bacteria grow best above forty degrees and it takes plenty of ice in a cooler to keep foods below forty degrees. Perishable foods should only be allowed to remain above forty degrees for a couple hours.

? Stick a first aid kit in the car and leave it there all summer. If you have kids, chances are you will need it. Likewise, keep sunscreen and calamine lotion in the car.

? In the heat of the summer, be prepared for a summer thunderstorm. Know the rules of lightning safety. Be prepared to retreat to a place of shelter. Waiting out a summer storm is much more pleasant with a few good books or a game the family enjoys.

? If you are going into the mountains or woods?off the beaten track?be sure that someone you trust knows where you are going and when you plan to return. Remember that you may not be able to use your cell phone in more remote areas or in the mountains.

The northern areas of Pakistan contain the highest concentration of peaks and longest glaciers outside the polar region. This is where the world?s 3 greatest mountain chains collide the Karakorams, Hindukush and the Himalayas. Emanating out of these rugged mountains flow rivers, their tributaries and melted glacial water thus creating a rich source of inhabitance for some of the world?s rarest wild life species the Astor , Pir Panjal markhor, Laddakh Urial, Himalayan Ibex and Blue sheep.

Heavy poaching by locals as well as outsiders had led to an alarming decline in population of these important species until when foreign and local NGOs arrived to their rescue and initiated a programme for the sustainable trophy hunting of these game species and its use. The importance to perpetuate the population of the Markhor at community level and the local inhabitants direct involvement through interest in conservation has led to satisfactory results in achieving this objective. The social benefits derived through income generation from hunting

Licence fees has played an instrumental role in successful conservation. Those

Communities who earlier did ,not have the resources to run educational, health and other social endeavours were now able to undertake these projects.

Hunting the ?markhor? as has been for many was one of my great desire. I was able to fulfill this pursuit and dream with the help of my friend Renaud Desgrees du Lou who happened to know Anchan Ali Mirza from the Karakroams – Pakistan and they were able to organize a successful hunt for me in the Karakorams – Pakistan. Although I had an option of hunting either of the northern population of the markhor I opted for the Astor since not many hunters that I have known had ventured into the heart of the mighty Karakorams where this animal survived.

We flew Into Islamabad where we were swiftly checked through customs and then embarked on a long journey along the ?Karakoram Highway?. Driving on the Karakoram Highway is a journey in itself, It is a once in lifetime adventure with breath taking views of Nanga Parbat, the second highest peak in Pakistan (8125 metres). Today Silk is found in all the world?s markets. It travels easily and cheaply by sea and air freight. This was not always so. The early trade in silk was carried on against incredible odds by great caravans of merchants and animals traveling at a snail?s pace over some of the most inhospitable territory on the face of the earth ? searing, waterless deserts and snowbound mountain passes. It was through this ?Silk road? whereby traders of ancient times carried silk from Kasghar over Taklamakan desert and Karakoram Highway into India.

Our first halt was at the bustling town of Gilgit, we continued driving further up to the valley of Bunji. The inhabitants of Bunji were expecting a foreign hunter for the first time. It was the first year that their community was in operation and all were hoping and praying for a successful hunt as this would mean considerable foreign exchange for their development schemes. I was advised by our friend Anchan Ali Mirza who is a son of the soil to pioneer the Astor markhor hunt in this virgin land. It was a new area and a test case for all. We crossed the mighty river ?Indus? on a local traditional raft known as ?Zakh?. This form of transportation on rivers is even used until today. Earlier the floats of ?Zakh? were made of goat skin but now days a more modern form of tyre tube is being used. Although a safe form to cross but a hair raising experience.

It is a traditional belief that a good male buck has 19 times the wisdom of a human being and hence we were to show some great strength, intelligence, courage and patience in the days ahead. The walk in the rugged mountains of the Karakorams is challenging and demanding and only those souls with the spirit of adventure are likely to succeed. At certain points we used safety ropes for crossing cliffs and falls. Fortunately we spotted a good male buck from a distance on the very first of our arrival and I was able to take a shot successfully. It was not until the next morning that we were able to bring down the animal due to poor visibility. As it had turned out it was a mature buck of about 34 inches although we were expecting a larger trophy. After all the hours of continuous driving and arduous walking I could not have been a more satisfied man. Amongst all of us there existed a great sense of pride and achievement.

We then drove towards our next goal which was the Himalayan Ibex near the town of Skardu. Interestingly when we arrived in this area we were surprised to spot a few exceptional size trophies of Astor markhor. . Anchan Ali Mirza had already taken a Hungarian hunter there earlier and therefore, It was not possible to hunt markhor again as the only licence had been utilized. The Himalayan Ibex survive here in good numbers and we were successful in bagging a male buck of 40?. I am told that if you were to drive further onwards into deep valleys of the Karakorams there is a very strong population of Himalayan Ibex. But for now I thought these 2 trophies are enough. I have been fortunate enough to be able to hunt successfully in a trip that normally would have entailed a few more days. I wished I had the pleasure of flying back from Skardu but un-conducive weather conditions did not permit us and hence we hastily drove back to Islamabad. We bid farewell and returned.

Just saw the movie Hollywoodland, about the life and suicide of actor George Reeves, TV’s first Superman.

The movie does a nice job of laying out the conspiracy theories that claim Reeves did not commit suicide but was murdered, either accidently or on purpose.

Watch for the boom mic in scene where actor Ben Affleck as George Reeves burns his Superman costume.

Here is the theme that I notice the most – George Reeves, a struggling young actor is handed a brass ring, the role of the first Superman on TV. The show is a great success, and he becomes a celebrity.

Not a bad gig, right?

The problem shows up when it becomes clear that Reeves is not satisfied with this role, and wants to be a “serious actor.” While this desire is certainly understandable, it is a shame that Reeves could not or would not appreciate the brass ring he was handed.

The implication is this disappointment is life is what led to his suicide.

Perhaps I saw this movie too much through my eyes as a therapist/coach, but it made me think of how so often we refuse to delight in the blessings around us and always yearn for more somehow.

I walked out of the theater feeling sad about the life and death of George Reeves, and very appreciative of my life and blessings.

Imagine you are on the beach. You and a friend are having a great time, so much so that you want to take a photo to capture the moment.

You get your friend to stand by the water. You vary carefully stand your friend with his back to the sun as you correctly have judged that having the sun behind YOU will cause your friend to squint because HE will be looking into it.

Posed and ready, you take the photo. Luckily, your friend does the same for you (it just goes to show what a great time you are having).

You look at the resulting images. They are poor.

Neither of you are squinting, or at least, you don?t think so. But unfortunately the eyes and face are in deep shadow and none of the features are visible.

The reason for this is that the bright background has fooled the camera into underexposing for the face. The background is perfectly exposed but the face isn?t.

The trouble is, if you compensate the exposure and expose for the face, you will find the background is overexposed and losing detail of that lovely beach, sea and sky.

There are two possible remedies. First, you could move your friend (and he move you) so that the sun is not behind him or you but to one side. If the sun is in front of your friend and over to one side or the other then you will get light on his face.

The second option is to use fill-in flash. Most cameras will allow fill flash to be used. This will allow the background to be perfectly exposed and the flash will illuminate the subject in the foreground.

Move the subject or use flash

One of the more inexplicable details in the movie version of The Phantom of the Opera consists of Christine confessing to her friend Meg that when she and Raoul were children, he nicknamed her Little Lotte. Lotte was a common diminutive nickname for Charlotte, not Christine. It seems that the dialogue was added simply to explain to the audience why they then sing a duet about Little Lotte.

So why does Andrew Lloyd Webber have a duet about Little Lotte in his musical, then? Simple. It’s in the original story by Gaston Leroux.

Now we get to the crux of the issue. In the 1980′s, when Phantom first debuted, no one knew who Little Lotte was. The offhand reference in the lyrics made no sense to most theatre-goers. But at the time when Leroux was writing his book, readers would have known exactly what he was referring to.

Little Lotte is a parlor game, similar to Twenty Questions, where one person knows the answer, and other people try to guess it. But in this case, the person lists three items, and the others must guess which of the three Little Lotte prefers. The secret is hinted at by the name of the game — Little Lotte prefers items with double consonents in their names.

So now, we have the lyrics: Little Lotte thought am I fonder of dolls or of goblins or shoes?

The correct answer should be dolls because it has the double-L. Since they both know the answer, they don’t bother answering, merely posing the next set.

Or of riddles or frocks? Or of chocolates?

Again, Lotte would prefer riddles, because of the double-D.

You can see why the game quickly fell out of favor. Once you know the secret, there’s no challenge. And that’s why modern theatre-goers needed an explanation for who Little Lotte was.

Jennifer Dunne is a Phantom phan who was thrilled to discover a mention of Little Lotte in an old book of Victorian Parlor Games that she picked up at a used book sale. She also writes hot and heartwarming fiction books of her own, some inspired by the Phantom’s classic love story.

When I am climbing up, you are stepping down.
When I wear a smile, you wear a frown.
When I am very happy, you are feeling sad.
When I am doing well, you are faring bad.

When I am awfully hot, you are terribly cold.
When I am rather shy, you are extremely bold.
When I am sweet and nice, you are tough and mean.
When I am upset, you are serene.

When I am at peace, you are at war.
When I stand against, you stand for.
When I use a comb, you use a brush.
When I am being slow, you are in a rush.

When I need silence, you need to talk.
When I want to jog, you want to walk.
When I decide to draw, you decide to write.
When I desire darkness, you desire light.

When I say, “let’s sing,” you say, “let’s pray.”
When I say, “let’s go,” you say, “let’s stay.”
When I yearn to go by ship, you prefer to go by plane.
When I wish to take the bus, you would rather take the train.

When I choose the color purple, you select the color blue.
When I get tonsillitis, you contract the flu.
When I want to dance, you elect to sit.
When I’m ready to begin, you’re prepared to quit.

When I want a sandwich, you desire a full meal.
When I hunger for grits, you are craving oatmeal.
When I studied Greece, you delved into Rome.
When I read of St. Francis, you were reading St. Jerome.

When I vote Democrats, you vote Republicans.
When I joined the Methodists, you joined the Lutherans.
Nevertheless, I love you, and I know that you love me.
Opposites do attract quite well, would you not agree?

For when I need someone to listen, you are always there.
When you are hurting deeply, I show you that I care.
When I need your strong support, you are always by my side.
When you need my loving tenderness, I never fail to provide.

When I achieve a goal, you bask in my success.
When you expect me to say “no,” I surprise you and say “yes.”
When I slip into depression, you lift my spirits high.
When you think you may need help, I am always on standby.

When you wake up in the morning, I am there with a warm kiss.
When I lay down at night, you rouse me to loving bliss.
When I need to feel protected, you are my guard and shield.
When you’re in bed recovering, I don’t leave until you’re healed.

When I am home alone, you call to check on me.
When we’ve done each other wrong, we accept your apology.
I love you so my darling and I know that you can see.
That opposites do attract quite well, especially you and me.

Act I

Scene 3

Behind the stone structure know as the Circle of Refaim, the first of a number of circles of stones placed on top of one another, balance perfectly, some weighting 30 to 50 tones, huge in size (a monument crumbling into the ground because of its age, and lack of maintenance), the horde of angelic beings, giants known as the Nephilm all go behind with the female Adgo. At this time, Azaz?el, the leader of the Nephilm, who now has appeared on the scene (Roe being the captain), gives news of a 3rd temple to be built in Jerusalem soon (a sign that the war in the Valley of Raphaim will quickly develop, and that is why the Raphaim have returned, even though the ruler of the Europe Union has made an agreement with Israel to avoid war, it will be broken; even though Noge has some reservations on this matter, ignorant somewhat.

Horrep:

Soon, Noge, you shall know it all. I need to make you ready for the last battle, my heart is sad, it will be our misfortune, I shall describe things hurriedly for you, don?t mind what happens to the hussy.

Noge:

She is only ill behaved because we want her to be father.

Horrep:

The woman, with her the worse is to come between us I do believe. She never should have been let through the gates, naked as an egg, and here she is, to be taken by all, we act like dogs, shameless.

Noge:

But father we have eyes that are false, hers are not, she is of real flesh.

(You can hear her crying in the background, in the middle of the horde of angelic beings: giants)

Horrep:

You have not seen, I have. You mistake this marvel of a woman to mean more than it is; she is no more than a mountain rat, a brothel pig.

Azaz?el:

Hurry up with her, stare and look, and be done with her or I shall go mad She? (a long pause)

Hell tells you?to be ready for the battle to come, you will have your time for killing, this is but one woman, there are more.

Noge (speaking to Azaz?el):

She is no immortal like us, do not harm her, or I will not obey you when the time comes to battle. Tell Vii not to hurt her, put aside your anger, and let her live: should I not have her again?

(Vii is making love to her now in the circle around her you have not heard her speak, only cries)

Azaz?el:

Vii, bid that she speak, and if she does, do not harm her, incarcerate her when you are done, so we her lover can have her later, put her in a tomb here in the circle.

(To Noge) Perhaps her tongue is alien to us, we shall speak in English, or Hebrew, or Arabic, whatever pleases her, is this fine with you? Be off with her soon? we cannot stand around her forever staring at her flesh: I?ve got work to do. She is a distraction, perhaps by the Jews; possibly she is sent to quiet us, when you see her beauty, your heart burns, you are innocent of this I know, and you are your father? shame. Trust me, in days not hours, the temple will be built, and we will war with Israel, and King David will not save them as he did so long ago in the Valley of Raphaim. (He walks away, leaves Noge and Horrep by themselves, standing back from the horde; Vii stops, takes the woman by the hand and leads her out by and tomb, she is saying something to him, indistinguishable)

Noge (to his father Horrep):

How does God work?

Horrep (looking at his son):

David killed many giants in his day, had many victories over Philistine; he sings songs about it, about God?s love in his Psalms. We, Azaz?el and I and many of us have been trying to figure that out for a long time, David knew.

Noge:

Then why are we going to fight with Azaz?el against the Jews, I mean, if God has favor with David, and David is with God, and David was a Jew, why do we come here to this land we got kicked out of, and ran into the comics so long ago; why do we stay to kill more Jews?

Horrep:

Perhaps because we think it is our threshold, it is thus a home. Yea! Those questions, pierce my cheeks, they are defiled! Hold your tongue, it is like a spear.

(Several of the Giant soldiers heard a few of the last words Horrep spoke, turned about?confusion on their faces.)

God sent his angels to help David; they were on the tops of trees, with swords; that is how he won two of the battles: the ones in this valley called the Valley of Refaim. You are one of the last of your kind you know. I say one of the last, for Saint Christopher came from our stock. He was 18-feet tall, he come from a tribe of cannibals, like our ancestors. He was ugly, and died around 300 AD, he became a martyr, he became a Christian; he came from Africa, the Marmaritae tribe. He was like you, always asking questions.

Noge:

But father before the days of Enoch you were born, what then?

Horrep:

For the last time I beg you to hold your mouth you are my son! It is just how it is, you trample on my heart, and you are worse than the harlot I purchased for you, and I get this. But I shall tell you this?

(Vii had left the girl on a tombstone; she is naked and staring at the horde gathered together a distance away: she glances back and forth between the horde and Noge)) Azaz?el is nearby listening to the conversation between Noge and his father; he was coming to let Noge know where the girl was but did not want to interrupt; thus, now Vii and Azaz?el stand together listening)

?actions and emotions?is what it is all about. Maybe our enemies were humans all along, the very ones we were protecting from the clouds. We became paralyzed by God?s love and care for them early on, to be honest; I suppose that is close enough to the truth. We never waited for God?s voice, we didn?t listen to Him when it did come, but came down-to-earth as if it was the courtroom, and we gave sentence to earth. That was that?! ~

Act 1, scene 1 and 2; Written 5/13/06. Act 1 scene 3, written 5/14/06.
